Coat hook FEA: personal project (Abaqus, learned in Computation & Design)
- Used Abaqus for homework assignments in this course.
- Ran a stress analysis in Abaqus of a coat hook I 3D printed, to check that the design could hold a jacket without breaking.
Lab instrumentation: Measurement & Analysis
- Used an Arduino as the data acquisition system with thermocouples, strain gauges, accelerometers and pressure transducers, plus an oscilloscope.
